Stranger: That you be indeed, matey
Stranger: How did ye find this ol’ site here?
You: Well I were sailin’ upon the waters o’ google
You: And I came upon this ‘ere place
You: And what brings ye to this desolate land?
Stranger: Yarrr I found her through some of me shipmates from another land far away.
You: Yarrr, they be mutinous shipmates that send ye to such a terrible land
Stranger: They sent me off with a warning, they did. Tell me of troubled waters and horny shipmen left and right.
You: Aye, of them thar be many
You: Though tales, thar be, tales o’ treasure o’ the rarest sort
You: Indeed, I meself be here on account of seeking such treasure
You: But alas, I’m yet to uncover that which I seek
Stranger: What be the treasure you seek?
You: Arr, it be known by a mysterious name
You: It be called, “intelligent conversation with people who aren’t trying to get off”
You: Though perhaps, I might be adding, I have a feeling I’m closer to finding said treasure than I have been yet
Stranger: I have found this treasure a few rare times in the past, me matey.
Stranger: Much harrrd work and perseverance it did take
You: By the Powers! That be news indeed.
Stranger: Such a treasure…one can only find once in a blue moon.
Stranger: RRRAAAAHHHH! Blue Moon!
Stranger: Quiet ye parrot
You: Arr, those parrots be bloody loudmouths sometimes, be they not
You: Be it true that the treasure is cursed? That once found, it will always become lost again, never to be found e’er again?
Stranger: True it be ‘cept when two forge a connection strong enough to pass instant messages between them even when they have left.
You: Aye, I’ve heard tell of such things
You: They be much like semaphore, only wit’out the flags, be they not?
Stranger: Arr, that they be indeed
You: Well, I be settin’ sail now matey
You: Watch out for them scurvy dogs as roam this here place.
