Doesnâ€™t it make more sense to judge someone on their character and actions instead of their religion?

I'm sure God knows if that lazy rude guy is really confessing and will make an effort to change his way of life or confess for the sake of formality but still commit the same sin over and over again I heard from a preacher before that its useless if you keep doing the same sin over and over again even if u keep confessing

Whoever this guy was the “You” and probably the one who posted this sorta just led the stranger on red herrings and didn’t really disprove the relevance of anything. And yes, I assume the guy IS an Atheist because he is from the UK and I’m not wrong for doing that.
